Apparently Oscar gets the whole "time-out" thing...he regularly puts himself in time-out (complete with little whimpers and whines) when I tell him NO!

Here is a classic scenario...Gordon was sent to time-out for tackling Oscar and making him cry. In the confusion of who was in trouble (since O did quickly smack Gordon in the back as he was leaving the crime scene) Oscar speedily went and joined him!

Is it just me--or does this time-out look like too much fun?

Gordon's a fish...

Gordon had a love/hate relationship with swim lessons this year! When he was there he had a BLAST and was so excited and happy to be in the water...but every morning we got ready to go he always said he didn't want to go. He always tried to convince me that his teacher didn't like him anymore...and of course after being asked why he thought that he quickly replied, "She always makes me stay on the wall when I just want to swim!" I guess being the youngest kid in his class was a little hard on him...the child next closest in age just turned 5 (Gordon is still 3). We'll probably sign up for the eel class again because he is still so young but find a smaller class so the wait time between turns isn't so hard!

The Crazy Man Face!

Here is is to behold and enjoy!

Oscar's First Ice Cream Cone!

...really it seems odd but true... this is Oscar's first cone of his own!
Let's just say he LOVED it! He had the best chocolate mustache after but wouldn't stop making a crazy man smile face so I could get a picture to do it justice!

2 little warriors!

Gordon came in to tell me "something very important" this morning. After enchanting me with a tale of some serious "battle" he got down to the important part... He said "Mom, I even taught Ellie how to be a warrior baby! Come and see!!" I walked out with him to the living room to find Eleanor happily sitting in her swing covered in "battle paint". Who knows where Gordon found that pen since I had spent half of the previous day collecting them to discourage my little warrior boy from "painting" him self--but he did...I'll have to do a better job tomorrow!

Eleanor's Blessing Day

Eleanor Rachelle Ward was blessed on July 1st. We were so lucky to have many family and friends there to celebrate our beautiful little girl!

Oscar is a little Daddy's boy!

Steve walks in the door and so begins the crazy wrestle fun mania! The hardest thing for Steve since we've been done with school is having so little time with the kids...but what is lacking in quantity is surely made up in quality!

Here goes...

Really this blog stuff is big! I was very skeptical until even my own family started posting and it has been so fun to see their goings ons and see what comments are made. This new blog serves two purposes for me however...I'm seriously slacking on the standard paper and pen type journal so hopefully this helps me out!
